Evans and Godwin are pretty damn good.
Julio is pretty good for a #3.

Didn't he get HC interviews last year?

So he called those 66 passing plays last night?

He and Brady were tight. I'd say Brady will definitely be moving on now.

Leftwich was viewed by the media as one of the black assistants they demanded get a HC job seemingly every cycle.

It wasn’t just the media. Plenty of dumbasses here/msb too, that convinced themselves the only reason he wasn’t a HC yet was because of his race.

They were oddly silent when he turned down the Jacksonville job though

Nothing about Leftwich screams Head Coach material. Same for Dennis Allen, but I believe DA has proven he is a much better coordinator over a much longer period of time.

I have never understood the fascination with Leftwich.

The Bucs were dead last in the entire NFL in rushing and had only 32 total TDs (among the very worst offenses.) Even the Saints had 37 total TDs.

TB has no talent on offense and a qb that is 45 years old and is very much starting to look it.

The Falcons had probably the worst QB in the NFL (I believe he lead the league in uncatchable throws) and Patterson was hurt for a period of time. The Falcons and Saints still had way more TDs than the Bucs.

I'm not buying the excuses for them. The Bucs had their starting QB and 2 incredibly talented WRs.

Funny how that wasn’t a factor for Weis McDaniels or O’Brien in the total meritocracy.

Winston threw for 5000 yards and 30 TDs under Leftwich

If you want an OC that looks good without a good WB hire Kyle Shannnahan or one of his assistants.

Otherwise everyone is tied to the play of their QB.

I don’t know how hamstrung he was by Brady’s diminished arm strength but that was pathetic.

I watched a decent amount of Bucs games this year, and Brady's arm looked fine. The bigger issue was he and his receivers just looked off most of the year, and the old man needs a good offensive line. The miscommunications could easily be on Brady's side too, I'm not trying to shine a turd here.

Good point. I dislike Brady, but I agree that he can still make NFL throws all over the field. His arm still looks NFL caliber.

I question their offensive game planning and scheming. Last in the NFL in rushing is sad. Last in the NFL in rushing yards and TDs is wild to me. Only 5 rushing TDs. And that's in today's NFL with the extra game.

Brady forced him to throw 45 times a game to pad stats. He’ll be ok.

So, a black coach fired a black OC who was supposed to represent the best of the league by having an all black staff from HC, OC and DC. Interesting...

Yeah, this is a myth. That was one of the worst OL in NFL history and he still drug their pathetic asses to the playoffs.
