He's a gawd awful recruiter, stone face on camera, knows nothing about offense but often interfered with his OC when he was our HC. He's a decent DC if someone else recruits to fit his system.

I give Odom a B- overall grade for his time at Arkansas. Would prefer to keep him but not crying about the loss.

Meh, he has been coasting on goodwill from the first season. We were atrocious this year on D. We had a ton of injuries but there is no excuse to be as bad as we were.

Depends on next hire. Odom did a good job especially with our injury situation. Some head scratching performances though (making Brady Cook look like Lamar Jackson).

Damn, just a week ago there was a thread discussing Gary Patterson to UNLV and their potential of joining the Pac 12.
Arroyo had objectively improved them in the win column each year he was there. Dumping him after three seasons (his first being the Covid season) just to hire Barry Odom is even stranger than Satterfield to Cincy.
