What pivot? It’s responding to the counter-point you interjected. Was Dabo not a position coach who, after the head coach was fired for poor performance, was promoted to interim HC, then offered the HC job?

which would probably do well in the plodding and slow Big 10 West.

The West is gone after next year.

They are 2-8 under Joseph and have lost 5 straight. I guess you can argue they are playing "better" than under Frost, but I don't know how you sell a fanbase on a coach that will probably finish his year with 6 straight losses

lol how many games do you think there are in a season?

they are 2-6 under MJ and yes they have lost 5 in a row but have been much more competitive.

do i think he should get the job...frick no, but they have been better.

i would get jamey chadwell if i was them or Kstate coach.

So I am guessing Rhule and Urban said no thanks then and would rather go with the devil they know for cheap than someone else…

Ugh, they should've kept Pelini. It's been all downhill since then.

LSU fans thought he sucked as a WR coach

He did suck as WR coach. He also was a contributor to the totally dysfunctional culture we enjoyed at LSU for years with the bullshite he pulled with New Orleans recruits when he thought he was going to get fired

Nebraska is a really bad football program. They need more than a football coach. They need someone who can market that program like a startup business.

Should have never fired Solich or Pelini. They will never be the program they once were under Tom Osborne.
