Bills owners are also huge Penn State donors.

LSU is not the location for 1st time coaches. Geez, even Sandwich Joe Sloan should not have been elevated to Offensive Uncoordinator.

It’s pretty well known that he dislikes the college games and wants to be in the NFL. Not sure what you’re trying to say.

The best HC in CFB is a first time HC and is at an elite program on LSU’s level

Agreed. Do you really think he will come back to be OC? There is zero chance he is beach coach, if that is what you were suggesting. But that’s so far fetched it cannot be what you meant.

Risky hire, but I would be on board if it was incentive laden and light on buyout.

Some first time head coaches

Ryan Day- Ohio State
Dan Lannings - Oregon
Kirby Smart - Georgia
Marcus Freeman - Notre Dame
Brent Venables - OU

Are we so much more of a blue blood than those teams?

First Time HCs won the natty in 24, 22, 21, 18, 16, 13, 10.
