Deal is done. Will be announced in the next couple of days. I tried to bump my previous thread but I guess it got anchored.

Makes sense. He’s a protege of Joe Morehead, who worked with Cristobal.

Similar offense.

Thank goodness. If he didn’t sign here and signed anyplace in SEC it would have been a melt. He can go to ACC and fade away.

I had concerns about him as an OC on his own (at this point in his career), but I would have been pumped if he had come back to LSU. He has a good swagger/confidence that I think college players can put their trust in. Miami fans must be excited. Makes sense he would choose to go back home.

The assumption that he won't be successful in college because he didn't set the world on fire in the NFL is flawed.

Spurrier had 12 amazing seasons of success at UF before flopping in DC. Came back and had another very good run at USC.

A lot of people thought Brady was ready to be an NFL head coach. He’s not moving in that direction right now. He is still young though.
