Can't wait to see the LSU passing attack in '19!!!
Degree of improvement solely dependent on the OL.

Can Brady teach pass blocking? (Maybe he can talk to Ramczyk and get a Wisconsin OL pipeline going)

What returning OL's are effective pass blockers?

What TF OL's coming in played on high school teams that threw the ball a lot and are already great pass blockers?

Maybe not teach pass blocking but can go with a more quick rhythmic passing attack to get ball out of qb hands quicker. Also teach an effective screen game. Think our biggest OL problem is slow developing pass routes deeper down field while failing to attack with quick slants, rub routes, combo routes, TE middle of field/quick hitches etc.

This X1000, people act like all the sacks were just bad line play. A lot of it was from coverage sacks, slow arse developing plays, and running dumb arse max protect with only two wideouts running routes.

I can see both guys going the analyst/shadow staff route for a year or so considering they received significant buyouts when they were fired.

Interesting. Vol said Applewhite and LSU are not on good terms. Wonder if something changed?

You are an unhappy person. This hire seems like a great infusion of a young talent that gets RAVE reviews from Sean Payton, Carmichael, and the Saints staff en masse. Remember, asshat, we finished #6 in the final AP Poll, and are having a great off season, and the program is on the up swing. BTW, Mickey is a solid recruiter who got us a great receiver class last year, Palmer, and probably Lee this year’s. I am betting that Brady is a special young coach that will bring new passing and rpo concepts to Ensminger to enhance our offense. Bold hire by O.

but apparently the Coaching Dead Weight (MJ) on the LSU Staff can so well that Orgeron is going to keep him on.

what he can effectively coach at this level of competition. (Certainly not WR's or TE's)

Are you saying he learned absolutely noting in the 2 years with Sullivan? Brady had only 2 years with Payton and I'm sure he learned a lot.

Coach O has teamed average coaches that can recruit with legends (meatball with old Pete, mickey with Sullivan). They've learned the ins and outs of coaching their positions and now its their time to shine.

Just like we expect our players to develop from year to year so can our coaches. I don't think mickey will be the same coach that he was when he first got here. Let's give the dude a chance to show that.

Sullivan was here two seasons. In the summer of 2017 he was hired as an analyst to help coach up Joseph.

Coach joe brady could be the next oc compared to what he knows. He knows alot about the offense the saints run and he absorbs an offense like a sponge. This coach could be the oc coach o is waiting for. He's a gem in the waiting.

Sure, but how does he compare to our coach in waiting, John Morton?
