Interesting. I used to listen to JR semi-regularly in college/grad school. He had on Coach Hud quite a bit and Rome would praise his process/mentality.
I didn't follow SBC or ULL football much, so when Hud was let go a few years later it surprised me based on Rome loving him.

Rome has always been another Cowherd/Bayless - he’s made a living on hot takes and being the “bad guy.” It’s actually kind of funny seeing those types jump on the BK hate bandwagon, as it just shows you that the rest of the national media have really jumped the shark.

We stole the the coach from one of the most prestigious universities in the country and the ultimate media darling on the verge of a possible playoff spot. They are gonna be loaded with salt for a while. Just ignore it. If Kelly wins like we think he can , who cares?I do agree the double standard is ridiculous with Riley and Kelly .
