According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Jets are contemplating making a monster splash, or at least trying to anyway. New York, Florio reports, "is planning to make a run at Harbaugh after the season ends."
And in doing so, the Jets want to try and make him an offer he "can't refuse," throwing something in the range of $7 million a year to lure him away from Michigan.

So they're going to offer him less money and think that will lure him away?

Jets could erect a 200 foot solid gold statue of Saban and it wouldn't have him even consider absconding for the League again.

This "reporter" pretty much proved himself to be a total dumbass reporting this. Oblivious to the fact that the jets will be throwing a smaller bank at him. Thats the story, but he was so quick to be the first he didnt think it through. Dumbass.

The arrogance of NFL people is amazing. I used to love when a guy would fumble or drop a pass and the announcer would say that's a rookie mistake. "In this league you can't do that. He will learn once he gets some coaching." As if the pros are the models for good fundamentals.

“And in doing so, the Jets want to try and make him an offer he "can't refuse," throwing something huge at the Michigan coach that is "well in excess" of the $7 million a year he is currently making at Michigan.”

This is the quote from the article.

IF true, he shouldn't. Can't beat OSU at Michigan and that is all they care about.

Do you have any proof of this? I always see these types of statements on this site, but I just don't see it. Who is putting him up on a pedestal right now?
