Come on man don't believe that. He may not have an offer on the table but I'm 100% sure Herman has been in discussions with lsu. It's just not possible that they would wait this long.

Honestly, if they would stop playing games and trying to maneuver, they could get this shite done. Just come up with a deal and go balls to the wall with your number one pick. If that falls through go to your number two. Waiting this long and letting names leak just ruins the process. There have always been three names: Herman, Fisher and Chip Kelly.
There were legitimate rumors out of Philadelphia about Kelly talking to LSU last year. There were legitimate rumors out of the Bay Area that Kelly was eyeing LSU again this year.
While Kelly is the least likely of the 'home run' hires, he's still there.

Kelly would be a disastrous hire. He doesn't want to coach in college, and he hates to recruit. There are reasons he's bouncing around the NFL and just collecting buyouts as long as he can.
