Smoke screen....ricks entered the portal so saban could pretend to recruit him and throw everyone off to the fact the he is going to be LSU’s next coach. Once it is announced and made official ricks will then reaffirm is commitment to playing for LSU.
Not sure how anyone cannot see this.
On a more serious note, Woodward has had his guy for several weeks now, USL will be looking for a new coach soon

It’s pretty much a given that every possible phone that Saban could come in contact with is likely bugged, as well as listening devices in his car, home, office, etc…Don’t think for 1 second that Bama would ever allow Saban to leave.
