Looking at all things relevant, and looking at LSUs past, you know they are going to take the interim tag off in two weeks.

It will come to pass because it is the "most LSU" thing that can happen.

This is becoming more evident by the day IMO. I think most here know it in their gut too...even if their mind says something different.

I disagree. I don't think he would be a disaster either. I just think that given the timeline of events.. we have our guy already

If hired, O will be scrutinized by our fanbase more than Miles was. Another loss to Bama and the place will go dangerously nuts.

Agree. He will win the last two games and get the sugar bowl bid. Alleva will give in to local pressure.

Alleva has talked about a national coaching search and wanting someone that's had success at the highest level.

It should be Jimbo or Herman. If O ends up being the guy then we need a new AD.

It sickens me that some of you want LSU to go from elite to middle of the pack again. That is exactly what O would do as head coach

If so, I will probably have that same look of disbelief on my face as I did after Alleva's post-game presser after the aTm last year. My wife thought I was having a seizure. Kept asking me "what's wrong, are you ok?"

We're not as preeminent as we'd like to think we are.

Like I've said before I'll never forget the pit in my stomach when they announced miles was staying. Then came the anger lol.

Relatively speaking, it would be worse than W Va taking the label off of Bill Stewart in 2007.

We will be hiring a guy with a career losing record to take over a top 8 (arguably top 5) job. That is a disaster.

I don't think this is the problem at all. I have no doubt that if O was not the football equivalent as Obama, Joe would be getting a top 10 coach. And they WOULD come here.

Public coonass outcry is what has altered this.

Even Alleva doesn't know who to hire until after A&M game. If O wins the next 2 games Alleva will hire O even if he didn't want, he has no choice because of fab base / boosters support and the national media criticism if he does't.

which is really messed up. you should know who your guy is and go get him. this week to week shifting of o's stock is ridiculous.

Boo freaking hoo, the fans and media can STFU. We shouldn't base LSU's future on an emotional hire.
