I can't see how as football is the most important hire, but all of his other hires have been complete disasters.

He has to be on thin ice.

I would think that if the O hire went bad, that Alleva would go down as well. But who knows.

O isn't gonn get fired. He's makin all the right moves staff wise. Doin an incredible job with recruiting. Idk if I've ever seen a HC change that held onto a top class like this. I have a feeling O is gonna prove to be very solid for Lsu.

Tied at the hip

If Alleva is gone then O will soon follow

If O is gone then Alleva will soon follow

Alleva has said as much himself. Which makes this hire even more hilariously bad.

The problem is that if they are both gone at the same time then what coach is going to watch to come here before he knows who the AD is going to be?

Alleva should be tied to JJ. When he fails this year Alleva should be gone.

Assuming that rational decision making is done (perhaps this is an unfair assumption), there would be zero chance that Orgeron would e fired before Alleva.

Alleva staked his job on Orgeron. He knew it going in.

So, in the scenario where Orgeron isn't successful, I think Alleva is gone first.

I also think there is a scenario where Orgeron is doing well, but Alleva still is fired. Personally, I think his handling of the football coaches search was pathetic. Assuming the basketball job becomes open, I'm not sure you allow Alleva to execute it.

He's got 2 more bad hires left in him. One for each major sports.

I can't stand you fricks who already have Orgeron fired. I didn't care at all for the way the search went either but at least give him a fricking chance assholes. He's got a pretty damn good staff going into next season if you ask me.

You're an idiot!!! If Alleva gets the axe we should look west to A&M and go after Woodward. LSU grad who worked with Emmert at Washington and brought Peterson in there from Boise St. Quite a coup. And he still bleeds purple and gold according to a mutual friend who was a fraternity brother of his.

Don't you have your own sorry-arse football coach to be posting about on your board?

You are the idiot. Les has a proven track record. Sure he had issues evolving as a coach but he would make an excellent AD. It's not my fault you lack the vision to see it

He'd never fire a single coach regardless of how bad their record was or how incompetent they were. Not AD material. Too nice and too stubborn..................

Link? Not being a doubter, but asking seriously because I missed that.
