Is there a legitimate hire you would absolutely hate?

I’ve been pondering this one for a bit. Obviously, any name that’s been thrown out there is an upgrade and SHOULD be able to compete from day 1.
That said, the only hire I think I would be EXTREMELY disappointed with is Tucker. He’s been very mediocre at MSU and his defense is, statistically, worse than what we have now with a weaker schedule. I think the SEC would destroy him.
So, who’s the hire you would hate, and why?
Edit to show a Tally:
Mentioned so far:
Tucker - 11
O'Brien - 7
Franklin - 7
Kiffin - 4
Dabo, Fisher, Stoops - 1
Not Mentioned, but have been mentioned on the board:
Riley
Napier
Aranda
Fickell
Fleck
Brady
Rhule

Tucker without a doubt.
This isn't to say he won't be great, but I have never felt more confused and out of touch than I do when I'm talking to someone who loves Tucker and thinks he'd be a great hire. I just end up repeatedly screaming "based on what?" until they eventually confess it's just because we also got Saban from MSU.

No. I’m not melting over any of the names I’ve heard. I want some more than others, but I’m not melting over any.
I might be very discouraged by Franklin though and the clown show tour he’s gone on the past couple of weeks

Franklin seems like an unlikable a-hole. I don't vibe with what i see about him.

Tucker would just be another Orgeron hire.

I’m not advocating for Tucker. But, how on earth is he “another O”?

Franklin knows how to manage a program at least at a pretty high level. Tucker doesn't have that experience.

Tucker does have a great resume and experience IMO. And is widely known as an excellent recruiter. Obviously knows the SEC.
I totally agree his HC experience is a huge huge concern. But other than that (and don’t get me wrong that a HUGE other than), he has a very nice resume.
You can’t know anything good or bad from his 1st year at Colorado or MichSt, that’s why this season is so important in making an evaluation of Tucker.

Is a great recruiter, can't handle either side of the ball himself, will rely on coordinators. His defense sucks.

Wait. Dude has been a D Coordinator. I am not arguing for him. Truly. But, his D sucks is based only on the situation right now.
He is a pretty terrific D coordinator.

Tucker. His entire history reflects nothing but mediocrity punctuated by occasional disaster.

I agree, because it would mean the hire was made based on other criteria besides merit. He took a 5-7 Colorado team from the year before and went...5-7. His first season at MSU (although a not an ideal start in terms of timing) wasn't great. He's currently 7-0. Which is good...until you realize NONE of those 7 wins have come against a team with a winning record (even if you remove their losses to MSU)
Could he recruit well at LSU? Probably. But none of the defenses he coordinated have been particularly good, and his last two college jobs (prior to becoming a HC) were at Alabama and Georgia where the HCs are very much involved in the defenses.
If everyone tells LSU no and he is the best of what is available? Fine. But to put him as one of the immediate top candidates is absurd
