In case you missed it - TBL said Riley staying at OU is "the likely outcome".

Feldman and Brody Miller said yesterday that Riley to LSU isn't happening, yet many said they would put their stock in TBL and others instead of the national media guys. Yet TBL recently stated the same:

I'm not sure how we go from lunch time pimp emojis, "a whale has been harpooned and being reeled in", and "mutual understandings"...to all of sudden it being "likely" that Riley just ends up staying at OU. Seems it was a lot of manufactured hype over nothing significant.
Maybe TBL could explain the sudden reversal.

LSU football culture is so toxic, nobody wants to be a part of it apparently.
Its the only reason I figure we hire crap coaches.
Doesn't seem like anybody is beating down the door for this job. Seems kind of....depressed actually.
Half this place is happy about hiring ULL's coach. Just strange to me.

Could mean he doesn't know anything past his initial info.
He seems to get little tidbits and then tries to fill in the gaps. I think that's where the back and forth comes in.
Honestly, I think this being held so close to the vest that our inside are just hearing 4th hand rumors

Because the “insiders” that post on this board don’t actually know anything. They are the equivalent of unpaid interns trying to pass off company secrets.
I honestly don’t remember any circumstance where they have been correct on a coach before the general public.

Nothing has changed. Riley has a fat offer in hand that he's very interested in and OU folks are scrambling to keep him in Norman.
They have said this is just their opinion based on past situations and they have no direct information that says Riley will decline the offer.
