If he wasn’t coming, he wouldn’t be meeting with OM officials later today

He has already met with our folks. He has to have a meeting with OM officials to tell them in person that he’s leaving. Then, he will come to Baton Rouge.

I think he’s torn. I think he really loves Ole Miss. They believed in him and quit treating him like a petulant child like everyone else did. He matured there. His heart is there. We really need to help him love Baton Rouge too and let him do his thing.

Or you are laying out your final concerns and wrinkles and commit to stay.

There are financial implications on how you leave a place of employment. He’s doing what he was advised to do. Great advice

I know you're a long-term member on this board which kind of amazes me considering you are a fan of anybody but LSU

He would have just said publicly he was staying during one of the 5000 chances he has had to do that. Again, he’s leaving. It’s done. Over.

One of their beat writers called him a hoe, and he called him out to his face yesterday after the game

LSU may be more pressure, but I don't think anybody in the press would have the nerve to say that about him... our press are pussies

However, he could go 9-3 every year at Ole Miss, never win anything, and they would build a statue for him... let alone 11-1

Imagine bringing Ole Miss to success that they've never seen, and still being called a hoe by someone with somewhat of a voice... their arrogance is off the charts at this point, because they don't know how to act like they have been there before

Using your brain and posting thoughts has nothing to do with being a fan. Being naive and stupid does not make one person a better fan.

Ole Miss summed up in a nutshell. They think they’re Alabama because of Johnny Vaught and Archie Manning and Faulkner and The Grove. Most insufferable fan base on the planet.

Truth. Recently we had a coach in a presser state that “we are spoiled” and no one in the media called him out on it.

I dont know that its this as much as he loves his team and wants to finish the season with them. The good think is originally it seemed like he would be bashed in the media like crazy for leaving his team. But now it seems more like they are putting in on Ole Miss for not letting him. They understand LSU is a much better job and its hard to bash someone for wanting to take a better job.

I think once it became between us and ole Miss, and he still was planning an announcement the following day, you knew it was us. Otherwise he just would've told them he's staying

If LSU doesn't have a signed MOU by end of day, they need to pull the offer. Should have done it a week ago, but now it's going to seriously affect our recruiting.

Never happening. You folks who have lived there your whole delusional lives hate it there and talk, non stop, about how shitty it is there. If this is the tie breaker, sorry he will stay in Oxford.

May likely be contract incentives if Ole Miss makes SEC championship game that are being worked and leveraged.
