100% Agree...His agent is doing everything he can until Kiffin finishes the season with his team. His decision on where he's going has long been decided.

I’ve spoken to some friends who have connections to OM and they contend that OM stepped up with pay and promise to fund NIL to what Kiffin wanted. I feel confident that the numbers are all real close
Promising and being able to deliver are something else entirely. Can OM actually deliver those amounts every year? If not why aren’t they already in that ballpark?

LSU and UF entered 2025 top 10 in spending. They have already proven their commitment. OM has not and are arguing hypotheticals

Thus they are not equal offers

Ole Miss admin talking to a big Ole Miss donor:
“Yeah he’s gone. We tried to fire him yesterday but his lawyer threatened a law suit. We lose to MSU Friday and he’ll be in Baton Rouge Saturday accepting a $90 million dollar deal. His entire family has around the clock security. Get ready for some unflattering stuff to come out after he’s gone."

Ole Miss's NIL is not where LSU's is. The promised money might be the same, but there is a structure in which NIL gets to the athletes. LSU has been working on theirs for years and has the structure in place
Why lie?

Ole Miss has been credited as being one of the first to get NIL in order and is a huge reason you’ve seen our success the last 6 seasons. LSU has a huge collective, I won’t disagree. But acting like y’all have a massive amount more or that it’s somehow more organized is just hilariously inaccurate

Well, this would make his decision that much more understandable

Based on 2025 estimates from 247Sports and other reports:

- LSU: ~$20.1M NIL collective (some sources cite up to $25M roster budget incl. revenue sharing).
- Florida: ~$15.8M NIL collective.
- Ole Miss: Not in top 25, but The Grove Collective is active with growing donations; estimates around $12-15M from various analyses.

There is a third. Assuming all offers being the same then the decision will be which has the highest ceiling in his mind. If that's LSU then so be it. If his motivation is to win a NC at a school that hasn't won one in the modern era, then it's Ole Miss.

It's not a lie. The amount of money is comparable. It's the structure of having the brands lined up for the NIL to pass through the clearinghouse. Ole Miss doesn't have that setup as well as LSU. That's why Lane wanted Carter to show him the plan in Friday's meeting. No extension was signed which tells you that Ole Miss's offer wasn't as good as LSU's or UF's.
