I fully expect some kind of update from the brass today

They just need to let the fan base know they’re working on it.. I don’t know if these guys don’t work on weekends or what?.. but it’s pretty clear our competition does.
Holding some sort of press conference today with some updates and maybe answers some questions would go along way in restoring faith with the fan base. Hell maybe even give a list of candidates. Today is about damage control IMO

This is peak panic mode.
There is literally zero reason for them to give an update to fans. Just let them work behind the scenes and do what they do. Even their worst idea is based upon knowledge nobody here has so I’m willing to let them do their job and wait until it’s done.

What are they going to say? We’ve had 6 weeks to figure out who we want and we are waiting another week or two till we introduce who the new HC will be. Why would they need to let everyone know that?

There is no indication whatsoever that LSU should be in damage control mode except on this board — where I’m watching grown arse men act like 12 year old girls.

In case we think they forgot they have a vacancy...
I'd rather them behave as though their fans have an IQ above 100 even if a large portion of them don't.
