Put that in his 10 year contract. If he resigns or quits before it's up. He repays every dime LSU has paid him up to that point.

This is Kiffin's 6th year at Ole Miss. He's obviously been waiting for a "blue blood" job.

Wins and losses since Kiffin has been at Ole Miss:

Ole Miss is #3 on that list... OLE MISS! Kiffin has also fielded a top 15 offense each year he's been at Ole Miss. He is the best available coach and if you disagree, you can argue with a wall.

What year was it that Hartline and Golesh head coached a team to the BCS or CFP?

Why would a top college Head Coach leave the college ranks for the NFL for around a 60% pay cut?

Except LSU is a top 5 destination. You don’t go higher unless he goes to the NFL and I believe Lane knows he’s way better as a college coach. If he came and won he could be there 10 years or more.

We hadn't seen their body of work like with Kiffin. Neither had held a high profile position at a USC either and got fired.

Kiffin got HC jobs before he was ready no doubt he was very immature. That’s part of his resume sure but to hold it against him is assuming nothing has or could change. He’s clearly a different coach now after working with Saban and a successful run a FAU. As far as winning conference or national titles at Ole Miss they have not won either since the early 60s so hold that against is retarded.

You can not want him, that’s fine, does the most popular choice work out often? But you seem to be favoring guys with no record simply because they have no record, that way you can project whatever you want, the unicorn coach. There’s no guarantees, there’s no perfect coach.

I’ve always been anti-Kiffin through the years. But the guy has obviously matured. He’s not the Lane Kiffin of 10-15 years ago.

He’s not perfect and will no doubt coach some frustrating games. But I’m ready for a consistently good offense.

Look at who they’ve played. The one team that’s solid, they lost.
Did you watch them struggle vs UF who played without a HC / OC last night?

I like LK, but the fkr don’t walk on water.

This is the first year he's actually calling the plays.

columbus dispatch

Kiffin has turned calling plays over to OC Charlie Weis Jr. Before he just had the title like Hartline at OSU.

This isn’t 1985. Or even 2015.

This is 2025. NIL and the portal have leveled the playing field. Even Ole Miss can compete now, with the right amount of $$$.

Can you link the coach that’s never done that?

There’s also no unicorn coach that’s never struggled with a lesser team, never lost a game he shouldn’t have never blew a call etc
