I think he is reading the tea leaves... He throws down and lock down defense next year and gets the keys to the program. I thought he should have been the guy all along.

He probably knew that O was about to hire Ensminger and said to himself "I'll just wait this one out, because this idiot's about to get fired."

Why, he's the ONLY coach on staff whose output speaks for itself. He's got the inside track to the head job in 2 years

Looking at the schedule next year it wouldn’t surprise me if 0 is gone sooner than that

Stupid statement. Do you think every coaching staff is perfect? If you do you have no knowledge at all.

You think because Canada is gone that all of a sudden he's putting together a crap coaching staff. You don't know Aranda and I bet you don't anyone on the staff. This whole season was a bitch session about Canada and what a bust he is. Now you are in a melt that O wanted to replace him.

Last I was told did not want to be an HC. Hates recruiting also (3rd party info on both from a friend of his). I think he would make a great HC due to attention to details, and desire of perfection.

Yes because Saben has no attention to detail and doesn't desire perfection. Neither does Urban Meyer or Gary Patterson or Jimbo Fisher or Bill Belicheck...what a stupid statement.

Apparently you haven't read any other thread lately. If O in fact hires Ensminger as OC, this staff is immediately downgraded to shite, maybe shite+1

Surround him with ace recruiters, get a good long term replacement for AT with a GM position for the program and pair him with a real OC.

Well, once O gets run off, Herman will be at the end of his rope, so Aranda will throw Herman a line and pull in a good OC.

I bet he doesn't. He got a $600,000 raise and is now the coach in waiting. What a dumb post
