I don't think his post had anything to do with his stance on Freeze paying for hooker more so than Freeze being blackballed from the conference. I'm fairly certain Ole Miss firing him was a big reason both Freeze and Ole Miss didn't get harder. However, any SEC school hiring him next year can be prepared for the NCAA's nose to be up their arse. We all cheat to an extent, and I'd rather not have the NCAA looking for reasons to pop us. He said Freeze isn't a candidate because he likely wouldn't be for any major program right now. Maybe in a couple years.

Well they’re definitely not looking for reasons to pop us as long as we are losing 4 games a year including Bama, are they? Yeah, I’d take my chances if I really wanted to win.

I would fight IRL whoever downvoted the Freeze/Aranda idea. I’ll make you eat that sonic sign, baw.

I don't want Freeze because I don't think he'd help us as much as our fans think. He doesn't run the ball. Didn't at ole miss or Arkansas State. He runs up tempo 100% of the time, so his defenses are always gassed. He hasn't figured when to turn it up and when to let off. His 2016 Ole Miss team averaged only 25 minutes of possession a game, which is why they blew so many leads throughout the season. Even a good defense is going to get gassed if they're on the field that much. It's a good system to win some games you shouldn't, but it's not a system that works for an entire season. For example, Ole Miss beat Alabama in 2014, but they also scored 7 points against LSU, 3 points against TCU, and 0 against Arkansas.

I think we definitely need a coach that can implement some HUNH and spread concepts, but I do not think a coach that runs HUNH with no semblance of a running game is what we need, and that's what Hugh Freeze is. Sure, he'd be better than Ensminger but I don't think that's a real high bar. If our fans want to start competing for titles, we need to have a coach that can establish a strong running game as well as opening up the offense. It does not have to be one or the other, and Hugh Freeze is not that guy IMO

Tell me more about how Ole Miss recruited higher ranked players and deeper at every position than LSU on defense.

Y'all may hate how crazy our compliance department is, but they are a big reason we haven't suffered any significant infractions basically ever in football. And no, I would not take my chances on the future of the program to hire an OC to put a band-aid on Ed Orgeron. That is something Ole Miss fans do.

I don’t want Freeze. Regardless of offensive philosophy... NCAA and escorts....too recent.

So tell me why did Hugh Freeze inexplicably struggle against several teams each year moving the football? And not great teams may I add...

I do honestly think he gives you the best chance of beating Bama in the next couple of years. Which automatically makes him the best hire.

You clearly don’t have any reading comprehension. I never said Freeze shouldn’t be a candidate. I said you guys are crazy for believing that he is one. LSU isn’t even considering Freeze.

You know what? I didn’t like the O hire (in case you haven’t read my posts). But he’s here, and this is a sabanesque opportunity to make the very best of it. I didn’t say there wasn’t risk, but good businessmen take risks of failure all the time. It’s what makes them good.

You don’t pass on this opportunity. Hire him, keep close tabs on him and make sure he stays in compliance. But you don’t turn this kind of opportunity away.

Why are we making Freeze out to be some revolutionary offensive mind that may have some character flaws? His system isn't any different than what a lot of guys run around the country. But Freeze comes with a lot of baggage others don't.

The better part about hiring him is that we know he can recruit as well. And with his tarnished rep he’s here for at least 3-4 years like kiffin was with saban. It would be a win win honesty. Too bad we put appearances before winning

It’s an opinion board I can say whatever I want.

I'm no Saint but I'm not pumping my chest with a bible. Freeze was talking Jesus and calling hookers. frick him. He will end up backstabbing LSU. That's who he is. Scum.

The OC is a public official that will make in the neighborhood of 2 million a year. There needs to be some consideration for character when choosing it.

If they nix Freeze and we end up with Ensminger, they all deserve to be fired from the desk clerk to the BOS.
