How many players did Saban buy at Mich State? Go look at the roster had during Freeze's tenure.

You shifted the argument back to the risk without answering the question. Your argument was that Freeze wasn’t that good because he lost games at OM.

And even with OM cheating, they still didn’t get elite depth like LSU, Bama, UGA, etc.

If you think nobody wants Freeze, wait til the OC position at Bama comes open (if he’s still available) and watch what happens.

And I disagree. I think it came from Freeze

I think we definitely need a coach that can implement some HUNH and spread concepts, but I do not think a coach that runs HUNH with no semblance of a running game is what we need, and that's what Hugh Freeze is.

Valid points to consider. Freeze was never able to recruit top running backs to Ole Miss. Not sure if that was a recruiting problem, or his offense scared them away. They never had a guy come close to 1000 yards while Freeze was there, or Ark State.

We should not touch Freeze. Should not be given even the slightest bit of consideration.

You haven't answered a single question or comment I've made. You simply moved the goal posts in an effort to bring up more irrelevant bullshite about Freeze

No, my argument is that Freeze's offenses were a detriment to his defenses. If you want Freeze fine, then be prepared to bitch about Aranda's defenses giving up a shite load of 2nd half points like Freeze's defenses always have. My argument is that freeze's offenses are not revolutionary or unique. Coaches can be found to run the same simple offense he ran that don't have character issues that would cause concern. Freeze played with a loaded deck at ole Miss. He didn't succeed because of his offensive mind. He won because he leveled the playing field and bought talent Ole Miss has never seen before, but he still managed to lose 3 or more games each year even with great talent.

I will. I'll watch Alabama hire someone not named Hugh Freeze

He definitely couldn't keep local product Cam Akers from going to FSU. I don't think Ole Miss was even a finalist for him. But what good running back would want to play for Freeze?

Pretty sure that had more to do with imminent NCAA sanctions than anything.

Listen, Saban with the consultant program has become a coaching rehab center - Kiffen, Sark, and it looks like Freeze. The Freeze situation is way more risky. He was buying hookers, officiated over an Ole Miss program that was buying players, and got them on probation (should have been worse than what they got). Regardless of how good of offensive mind he is, he carries enormous moral baggage and hiring him sends a signal that ethics and morality does not matter to the university that hire him. I would love to have his offensive, but it is / was too soon to take the PR risk. Saban is walking on water with his championships, but bringing in Freeze now really does sully the integrity of the SEC and CF.

Nobody will bat an eye, because

And Freeze will help him win even more of them.
