How often has a successful BCS or NFL coach left his job to take a college job?

Narrow down to coaches leaving traditional powers or schools not considered stepping stones. Name that rings a bell are Bret Bielema (Wisconsin to Arkansas). Tuberville left Ole Miss for Auburn, but Ole Miss is still considered a stepping stone in some respects (smaller budget, smaller stadium, etc).
Who else?

Franchione from Alabama for Texas A&M

I don't think I am answering this question correctly bec there is a laundry list of successful coaches to leave for another job...that is how they get to the better jobs.

Brian Kelly did the same leaving (leaving BCS bound unbeaten team) Cincy for Notre Dame.

Kiffin - although it may be argued about his success. The fan base and the program were energized and seemingly headed in the right direction, until some bonehead gave the Dooley the keys so he could drive it off a cliff.

There have been several mediocre NFL coaches go back to college. Dan Devine was basically a .500 NFL coach that went to Notre Dame. June Jones was similar. Pete Carroll was not great in the NFL prior to going to USC. Mike Sherman had good success at Green Bay but was fired for a bad year and then an OC when A&M hired him. Bill Callahan went from the Raiders to Nebraska but was fired first. Saban was struggling at Miami when he came to Bama. Spurrier struggled in the NFL.
The key variable is none of them were highly successful current coaches in the NFL going back to college. Some were doing ok but most had been fired or were just average.
You rarely see a big time program lose a coach to another either. A&M hiring Fran was one example. It happens a lot more than a successful NFL guy leaving to go back to college though.
