From reliable source who works within the Hornets organization, they're trying to negotiate with Avery Johnson. I dont know whether it'll be this season or not but we'll see.

He'll talk Shinn into trading cp3 for Steve Nash.

Hornet fans will rejoice if the organization hires Avery. Then, by the end of the season, the same fans who were dancing in the streets will be calling for him to be fired.

Why is everyone so ready to hand him the job? Is it mostly homerism since he's from the area? I don't know much about him as a coach other than he took an up and coming Mavericks team and lead them to the finals.
