It's kind of funny that Ole Miss is blind to how bad theiy look in releasing it now after covering it up as long as he was their a-hole. It's not like they very recently did the same with a different coach.
Lane is not a candidate for beatification even after the miracle of getting Ole Miss into the playoffs. We all know Joey Freshwater will be making appearances.

Didn’t Lane get sober a couple of years ago citing no reason, just lifestyle change? Good for him, but there is 90% reason someone suddenly ‘gets sober’ if they had a drinking problem. Some shite went down most likely behind the scenes.

You seem overly cynical, even for this board .
There’s a good chance he’s like a lot of us, he woke up once morning and didnt like the feeling of sluggishness and not being 100% after a couple beers the night before … so like many of us, he just said ‘the juice aint worth the squeeze’ and it’s just easier to lay off the sauce altogether … im not a famous football coach, but that’s how it went down for me .
