The Board of Regents is meeting today and one of the items on the agenda during the executive session is "Personnel Matters Relating to Appointment, Employment, Evaluation, Assignment, Duties, Discipline, or Dismissal of Officers or Employees including but not limited to the Chancellor, Presidents, Vice Chancellors, in the Division of Athletics and members of the Board of Regents".

There have been lots of grumblings from backers and fans about him this season. A lot of people want him gone, even though he signed an extension last year through 2027. We'll see if Tilman is ready to pony up some more money to get rid of him.

That would be a great spot for Jeff Traylor if he doesn’t get the A&M job

As mentioned in by some the Patterson thread the other day, they should hire Gary Patterson.

He's been through the transition from G5 to P5 before and ca still coach defense at a high level. Has all the connections you'd want in state. Easy decision.

Traylor and Kinne will both have new jobs if Houston and Baylor come open.

I would hire Traylor or GJ Kinne. Houston and Baylor, if it comes open, should be filled by these two.

So, Arkansas AD isn't firing Pittman after all. Wow!

What? If the star quarterback is coming back, then why would he leave LSU?

A friend just sent me this....

Looks like he has a vote of confidence from Fertita at the present time. It was said that anything less than bowl eligibility is not a successful season...so we will see.

He’s being a slapdick. He’s talking about Nuss. Missouri fans are relevant this year so they’ve been spewing their bullshite all over the place. Don’t worry they will all be gone next year.

He hasn’t been very good other than one season at UH

He can’t build a program, you can’t keep a consistent program living in the portal non stop

He puts little to no effort in actually recruiting HS players

Holgorsen and WVU were a good fit, imo.

Holgo would be a top tier OC hire for a program in need of one if he gets canned. I’d love him as Elko’s OC I think. He’s not a fit for a head coaching position. The guy seems like a maniac and not strong at controlling the administrative duties of a program

That's a lot of words to say "We are meeting to talk about shite-canning the football coach"
