Our money guys will pay whatever for whatever coach or players they want.
They don’t want to BK 53m if they can legally get it lowered to a smaller settlement

I mean yea we all love Saban and he’s tGOAT, but I’m tired of having a coach for 3-4 years and moving on to the next thing. If by some miracle he decided he wanted to coach at LSU again and he doesn’t win a title after a season or 2 he’s probably 1 more season away from actually retiring for good.
If I’m LSU I’m putting all my eggs in the Kiffin basket. You’ve got a younger coach that would make it his last stop and you’d have stability for a decade +. You do everything you can to get him and you’ll never have to worry about your offensive struggles again.
I’m pretty pessimistic about getting him but his comments about wanting a bigger stadium and recruits still wanting the bigger programs gives me hope. Not to mention his daughter dating an LSU player and the Austin Thomas factor. So who knows.

Which they won't be able to do.

I was told again today LSU was given a number on Nick Saban from Sexton. They didn’t say no. Again the chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again but there is a legit offer out there.
How are chances very very slim that Saban would accept if Sexton gave the number? Why would he give a number if “chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again”?
Please answer those questions. Things just don’t pass the smell test. These statements are illogical.

It is weirdly quiet on all other names. I really have not heard anything worth saying about another name.
Someone just found the leak.

Saban has to be thinking about it b/c he hasn't said no has he?
Lane has a big reason not to say a word, and like others have said, not sure trust him not to just leverage.
Im good with Saban b/c we need to repair image and refocus more than anything. He will find a solid replacement in 2-3 years.

Everyone freaking out over possibly missing transfer timeline...remember players get an option for a transfer once a coach has left...ole miss and these other schools will have options!

Rebelgator, the claimed Ole Miss insider, swears up and down he isn’t leaving Oxford so this should be interesting.

Philly is the hero we do not deserve.

You give him a cutoff date, because if they don't and he decides to stay, then LSU is left standing there with their dicks in their hands

Would make sense for Sexton to gage interest. Gives him leverage for his other clients.
“If you have $20 mil for Nick you got $15 mil for Lane”

People give Phillytiger9 a hard time, but he earned some credibility calling BK’s firing several hours before it leaked. Check his post history.
I followed him that day because I heard the exact same thing about an hour before he posted it. Was curious as to how accurate my information was.

You seriously think only LSU fans think it’s the top open job?
If you can read, check any media rankings of open jobs & see what you can learn.

I want to call BS, particularly on the 29-35 number (I was thinking it would end up 36-40), but darn if you haven't been either spot on or very close to spot on every time.
I saw some rumors about Heupel that intrigued me, though I would not expect him to leave Tennessee. He would not hurt my feelings.

There are 2 names I can definitively tell you will not be LSUs next head coach and that is Jon Sumrall and Eli Drinkwitz. I have it on good word LSU is not extending an offer to either.

Just depends on what they can afford.
He'd probably take a $35mil lump sum.
