Good info, Boomer00. I don't think anyone is saying that Riley to LSU is 100% confirmed. Just that a reliable poster had conversations with a couple OU boosters who believe it is happening and that those conversations appear to be valid. This stuff is always fluid up until pen is on paper, so things could change.

The most interesting part of this is the complete vacuum of detail from the OU side. No public statements from the AD or coach. No extension (i.e. Mel Tucker). Just silence. That speaks volumes to me that this is at least a serious consideration that Riley is giving to his next move.

It'll all be known and public one way or the other in the coming weeks. It's a fun ride while we're waiting to find out, though.

I started the welcome thread for y’all. But yea I mean there’s plenty of other people on DB that are much more in with boosters or big money guys themselves. I donate enough to get club level season tickets and some perks like luncheons and a spot on the occasional charter flight through OU, but I’m by no means a rich booster or even close. I do know a few tho and usually they have a pretty good idea when something is going on. I’ve been trolling y’all on here for some fun, but It’s not like I hate LSU or anything. I’d laugh my arse off if y’all stole Jimbo but I don’t think that’s happening either.

I don't think he's trolling, I'm saying it's still all highly speculative still. Some posters are taking it as gospel now. I hope he's right, I think it would be an awesome hire.
