This is exactly what A&M said when they moved to the SEC. They never shut up about how they’re going to put recruit everyone. Zero division titles later and with LSU and Alabama down, they finally have one class that on paper looks better than ours since 2012.

Good deflect, he’ll see that he doesn’t want to end up like Miles. LSU is the only program you win a championship at and then they can you (outside of a decade). Doesn’t happen at other schools outside of Auburn and you guys are better than Auburn. I’m not saying you didn’t do the right thing with both Miles and Ogre, but a guy coaching a team coming into the SEC, isn’t going to move from one blue blood to another.

Miles is a mediocre-bad coach and lasted 10 years here.

After deflating the Saban-built dynasty roster (while admittedly getting a natty), he eventually build up one more historic squad that would be in GOAT conversations had OSU not missed a FG.

Miles, with all of his idiocy and mediocrity, lasted A DECADE here. If Riley is even a good coach, he'll out-pace Miles. If he's an elite coach, he can potentially go on a Saban-like run at LSU.

Listen bubba, you're about to start playing with the big boys. Same pressure is about to start infecting your program. But you haven't even won a title in 20 years so I have no idea why we're putting you on LSU or Auburn's level.

This mythical SEC recruiting bump you expect to receive is just that, a myth. Riley would be an absolute fool to stick around OU when the schedule suddenly becomes LSU, Alabama, A&M, and AU yearly instead of Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, and TTU. You struggle as it is to beat them.

Prepare for pain. And many losses.
