USM alum with some big wig connections. Didn't say he would get the job, but they are interested in him.

so we're looking into playing a bowl game minus our HC, DC, and OC
any chance someone wants Peveto?

Would Crowton have ANY shot at the LSU HC job were Les Miles to depart?

good, I hope he goes. Not that the offense has been doing poorly, but I think a conventional offense that can put together some long drives that can rest the defene is needed. Not to mention Crowton's inability to develop QB's. Just look at what Dixon did without him. Also, Flynn didn't progress at all as we had hoped. He is worse than Casey Dick.

I am as fed up with Crowton as I am with Teperini. Crowton calls a disjointed game. We seem desperate in some of our trick plays. Why the heck are having to get cute with our play calling? We have enough talent that we should be able to do just about anything out of a few formations. Heck, with Dickson catching as well as he does I think we could run the I 90% of the time....when they crowd the line pop one to Dickson.

I feel Miles has been involved in the play calling again this year this year.

Wow I think that is very out of left field. Let us remember that Jimbo Fisher is the main person that developed Flynn. I think he did a good job in many ways and I would love to see what Flynn would be like with another year. However I never gave Crowton too much credit for Flynn.
That being said are we not hearing rumors that LEE is developing nicely which would be a more Crowton project

yes, scoring too quickly is bad. next time jacob hester breaks free and no one's around, OC should tell him to take a knee at the 20 so the defense can rest.

Lee looked pretty damn good in the 2 scrimmages I saw him play in

Can I ask why? If anything, I think this year shows that he hasn't been involved in the playcalling. This year, we're opening it up and spreading it out too much at the times when we need to pound the ball. Last year, we tried to pound when we needed to open it up and spread it out.
To me, it seems like this year we have no bread and butter. There's nothing that we can go to consistently that we can say, "we're going to do this and we dare you to stop us." I understand wanting to keep defenses off balance, but only up to a point.

yes, great strategy. we're going off right tackle and don't care if you have 8 guys on that side of the line--hey, we're LSU!!!stop us. wonderful. marvelous.

i sure hope USM gets what it has coming to them. What they did to Bower was completely wrong and they won't find anyone better than him for that job...Jeff Bower put close to 27 years into that program and this is how they treat him? freakin ridiculous...
