I just upgraded my motor. Went from a Yamaha 150 to a 250. Southern Outdoor and Marine In Thibodaux did it. Had the best price out of the 5 or so dealerships I got pricing from. My boat is a 2012. It’s a solid boat and I’ve rigged it like I wanted it.

Crowley is a little farther than I’m willing to travel. Contacted Southern, Cajun and Tim’s Marine. Southern was very quick responding and the price was fair. Will give the others til the end of the day. Also, if purchased before the end of the month, they extend to 5 year warranty.

That’s about what I was thinking. I’m in BR, boat at camp in Chauvin. Anywhere close or around those areas. Friend just upgraded his motor. Tim’s Marine since work. He was pleased. They are working on a price now. But wanted to try and get a couple qoutes

Looking for dealer recommendations to upgrade my motor on my bay boat. In the BR / NO areas. Don’t mind driving farther. Going from 150 to 250 hp Yamaha. Controls, steering, ect. Was wondering who you guys recommend that does quality work but fair on pricing. Thanks.

I will always treasure listening to Don as my Dad and brother would be driving to Venice to going fishing, diving or hunting. Great run Don. You will be missed. Don’t know if the show will continue, but Kevin Ford would be great as the new host. JMO

Was in Venice down river this weekend. Caught our limit of small snapper. Came in and fished all over inside. Did not see one teal. Jumped four black ducks and that was it.

Dad had a camp in Venice. He purchased two from them years ago on our way back from a fishing / diving trip. Those two trees produced the best satsumas ever. And always were loaded with fruit. I plan on buying a couple myself

We bought a Honda Pilot from Team Gillman in Houston. They had the car on the lot and gave us what we thought was a fair price. Get there and was a shite show. Finally worked out a deal. Trying to get the plate and title was a pain in the arse. They are horrible. Would not recommend them to anyone.
