Because he don't want the grind of the SEC and if he's half decent will run that conference for 20 years

Some people settle for mediocrity and he’s obviously a coach that wants little stress. At LSU we demand it

Hard to believe, but everyone doesn't consider LSU the center of the CFB universe.

USC advantages are weather, great recruiting, and a patient AD.

Because anything less than the NC this rabid fanbase would have his scalp. 10 wins at USC would have statues built.

Running from the big boys in the SEC where he knows he’d probably lose multiple games per year. He’s going to a place where he can beat up on lesser competition like he did in the big 12. No chest.

If he’s not gonna come to LSU then why would he leave for a place like USC. That literally makes no sense. No fan support, nobody cares out there,

Are you serious.

1) If you make several million a year, LA is a touch bit more desirable then Baton Rouge
2) You will still own one of the best recruiting states
3) Much easier pathway to playoffs every year
4) You can live Cali lifestyle and keep an anonymous life - whereas in BR you would be in a constant pressure cooker.

It is pretty easy to see why someone would make this choice - it easily makes sense. Not saying I like it or I would do it, but this is not a brain-buster

Uh, because he has no interest in coaching in the SEC.

You're welcome.

LSU fires a coach mid season 1.5 years after winning a natty. Not exactly a “coach friendly” program from the outside.

OU's own fans are saying he is a pussy who wanted nothing to do with the SEC.

quote:

His left coast attitude fits better there. That pu$$y wanted no part of the SEC. Maybe the buy out will help us with our exit fee and we can leave in 2022.

Afraid of the SEC….backyard talent in SoCal.

I’m from New Orleans so I say this with all due respect. It’s SoCal compared to Baton Rouge. Plenty of amazing areas to live in that’s not the shite hole of LA. SC can become relevant again in just one single year. The amount of talent he will bring from that area alone will be insane. He will get to pick whomever he wants in that entire state.

Will you people quit acting like O wasn’t a dumpster fire focused on chasing tail and didn’t have title IX issues? The product on the field was only part of his problems. Quit parroting this BS!

You gotta consider that these dudes may not give a shite about politics. All he gotta do is coach and live on a beach somewhere.
