So why did you use that word? Could it be that presently your program is in shambles?

Is Arkansas REALLY in that much better of a situation?

Quick, when's the last time a coach left Fayetteville for greener pastures of his own volition?

The mark of a true destination job.

LSU - Saban left.
UT - Kiffin left
UF - Spurrier & Meyer left.
UGA - Is a destination job. Their last 5 coaches never coached again after being UGA's HC.
Vandy - lol, can't keep a coach past 3 seasons if he's worth a flip.
UK - Where football coaches go to die.
USCe - Where football coaches go to never be heard from again (Spurrier is changing this though)
Bama - Bear's liver left, Perkins left for the NFL, and Curry left to go to Kentucky & Franchione left for A&M.
Ole Miss - lulz
Miss St. - Where coaches go when there's nowhere else left.
Auburn - Where coaches become radioactively untouchable... however, Tubs left too, he voluntarily resigned and took a year off as he stated he'd do.

So yep Arkansas and UGA are the 2 destination jobs in the SEC. I'd say that puts us in the Top 10 tier hands down.

So you had to come up with an excuse for why no one has left Auburn?
And are you really saying Arkansas is a better job than Alabama? Go get Saban if you think that is true.

does auburn have a winning record against arkansas since '92? no.

We're tied since then. Here's the tie breaker for you.

Since '92:
Auburn- 183-79 (.698) 2 SEC Titles, 1 National Title
Arkansas- 133-96-2 (.576) 0 SEC Titles, 0 National Titles

Well Bowden left on his own free will, as did Tubberville. There's always pressure on coaches in the SEC.

Bowden happened to get bought off to not blab to the NCAA or press about what he knows, and about Aub's pay for play racket.

Don't even deny it, the facts are what they are.

To be a fact, it has to be proven. So a link to you're proof? If you're gonna argue about us cheating, I'm not even going to bother. If we are so good at cheating that we haven't been caught since '93, then we would definitely be the best job in the nation. You can cheat as much as you want and not get caught.

A non-disclosure agreement, cash payout, and ranch buyoff is all the proof a rational person needs.

Something shady happened, Bowden hinted at it, and soon after got an early retirement. He even said as much in an interview.

I would rate SEC jobs as:
1. Florida
2a Bama
2b Georgia
2c LSU
5 aTm
6 Auburn
7 Tennessee
8a Arkie
8b USCe
10 Ole Miss
11 Miss St
12 Missouri
13 Vanderbilt
14 Kentucky

My List Would be:
1. Texas A&M
2. Florida
3. UGA
4. LSU
5. Alabama
6. Auburn
7. Tennessee
8. USCe
9. Arkansas
10. Ole Miss
11. Mississippi State
12. Vanderbilt
13. Mizzou
14. Kentucky

Texas has the best recruiting in the SEC and will have SEC money for resources. Franklin has shown you can win at Vandy while Mizzou may be a complete rebuild.

I ranked USCe ahead of Arkansas because Spurrier has been more successful in recent years and has the access to talent and resources to maintain success

AU, UT and MSU were hiring new coaches after the 08 season... MSU's not 'top tier', but they made the best hire out of the three (kiffin, chizik, mullen).

Who would've thought that MSU would make the smartest Coaching hire back then, before the names were pulled?

I can see the arguement for aTm in the top 5, but you need a BCS title or at least a win to be in the top. They do have money, history and recruiting. Still second fiddle in Texas but that is changing.

Because of History and Money, Bama has to be in the top 3. Florida in my opinion has as much talent as Texas, and more undeveloped talent because of the high schools. Texas high schools are mini colleges and a lot of the players potential has been reached.
