Full disclosure, new to tigerdroppings so I know this won't be taken seriously, BUT I'm acting in good faith. My buddy is a lobbyist in BR and he has connections to a couple of the boosters. He told me there is growing support for Gus Malzahn as a backup option if LSU can't land any of the sought after sexy coach options... I think this is an absolute disaster, but my friend swears this is more and more likely as top coaches aren't receptive to the LSU job. Again, like everything else take it with a grain of salt. We've heard just about everything at this point so could just be people talking, but just wanted to share regardless.

Kristy Malzahn would definitely kill it with the bottomless mimosas at the Olive or Twist brunch.

I’d much rather hire Houston Nutt., if we’re going to look at washed up coaches.

I would immediately claim Arkansas fandom if Malzahn was named head coach at LSU.

He's a dork and wouldn't fit at LSU culturally at all, it would be a hilariously bad fit. Plus his offenses have been figured out by high school coaches from the east coast all the way to Cali

I would only wish that on my worst enemy. But the melt would be fantastic!
