Jets gonna jet. Yesterday, today, and for the foreseeable future

I would have had him escorted out of the stadium immediately after the game last night if I were the owner of the Jets. Williams likes to talk a huge game, but he is an idiot and yesterday demonstrated it.

That entire organization needs to be escorted out and start from scratch

I doubt he cares. He probably has another 8-9 head coach offers on the table again

I don't mind a defensive coach being aggressive sometimes, but that play call was idiotic.

He had a spy on Derek Carr on that play. A fricking spy. On Derek Carr. With 13 seconds left where they basically needed a Hail Mary.

Yeah there's a happy medium between only rushing 3 and sending 8

Why? I assumed that was the game plan, gotta secure that #1. I’m half-arse joking, but part of me wonders.

Sending a bit of pressure on a hail mary is the right call IMO, but sending 8 is a lot different than one or two extra.

that fricking moron cost us that 9ers game and likely a second super bowl

Hell, he very nearly blitzed us out the Vikings NFCCG

I know Trevor Lawrence is considered a generational prospect but I really would not want my favorite team to go 0-16 if that's what it took to get him. And calling an all-out blitz in that situation was definitely a fireable offense.

I believe he sent 7 and then had a spy on Derek Carr. That just made no fricking sense at all.

Ok send 5-6 cool. You don't need a spy on fricking Carr. Have two safeties hovering at the 20 yard line.

IMO
TL should hold out.
He needs to be in Jax, not the Jets

Can only guess that he thought maybe a hook and ladder type play with Ruggs' speed so he wanted at least one in a spy over the middle. Only thing I can think of.

They were at the 46 yard line, 13 seconds left, had no timeouts, and have Derek Carr. Did he think Derek Carr was going to run for 20 yards and get out of bounds for a closer shot at an endzone play?

shite, let Carr run in that situation.

A Spy makes NO SENSE, which to me was the worst part of the damn play. Either have the guy blitz too and go all in, or have the man as a safety in coverage.

Yesterday was done on purpose. That’s not possible to do 2 plays in a row
