Nice. Would be nice to see Rutgers making some noise. He should have told them to GFY when they wouldnt give him what he asked for the first time but he doesnt have many other opportunities knocking at his door.

Mixed emotions.
Schiano to Rutgers is nice. He'll get the program back on track.
It's also very clear to me that a lot of people 'get it' - the governor of the state stepped in to help the school get Schiano back. It's not about Greg Schiano, per se, it's about keeping the state university (Rutgers) in the B10.
The flip side? The AD, Pat Hobbs, is a total idiot and he failed this thing so badly it's not even funny.

Schiano was the only real solution, so they got that right. Hobbs will be sidelined as soon as the BOG is shuffled a bit. Patience.

Not sure I agree.
Schiano is a good coach, but he isn’t Nick Saban. He was never ‘the only choice’ until the school started negotiating with him.
I’m happy they got him, but the process was a disaster.

Meh. He is a head case who could never win the old Big East conference. Rutgers bent over backwards for him when he was here last. The last stadium expansion was an absolute disaster.
