Grantham is a candidate for Mississippi St.

Expect Mississippi State to start conducting interviews this weekend. One name gaining traction in the search is Florida DC Todd Grantham, the successful former DC at MSU under Mullen in Starkville.

I don't know how many games they would win with him but they would be mean as hell and the other team would be sore the next day.

I mentioned in a thread this morning that Napier would not take the State job because he doesn't want it and to look out for Grantham to be a candidate people aren't talking about as much. Former players close to program still are campaigning hard for him.

Grantham is Muschamp Lite, but a much worse coach and less stable

Friend of mine at State now says the hire should be revealed within the next 24 hours, probably tomorrow afternoon. Offer has been made to Joe Judge to be the next HC of State. They should have a response from him tomorrow morning. If he declines, an offer will be made to Todd Grantham who will accept (he has already done so in a handshake agreement; he’s the backup).
So there you go.
