Coaching Changes board with LSU looking for a head football coach is the GOAT Tigerdroppings experience.

Yep. It was pretty insane last year, even when it all fell apart. Now we have to make the hire and this board will be nuts until that happens. Even after, there will the staff hires and all the various trickle down moves that come out of the coaching carousel.

Maybe they're making another run at Saban? The entire SEC could pitch in.

Ketch is a major douchebag so take everything he says with a grain of salt

Also, Neuheisel today on his xm show said that a coach reached out to him and said keep an eye on Dabo to Texas as a dark horse. That's all he would say, but just said that coach he heard from knows Dabo very well.....

Ketchum is an insider like Random is an insider. He runs a pay site. They basically just suck off Chip Brown and have little to no insider knowledge.

Been wanting this dude since November of last year.

I'll take Jimbo for sure, but man I'll lose it if we land Tom.

Nope. Jimbo would still be a big upgrade but Herman/Aranda would wreck shite at LSU.

U of H is not a peer institution, Herman is not a seasoned, veteran hc and a thorough, exhaustive and legitimate search has not been conducted. They can't pull the trigger at this time. They really can't.

I would be careful listening to Ketch or Chip Brown without taking what they say with a huge grain of salt. Not saying they are always wrong (broken clocks and all that) but they are most susceptible to agenda driven sources. Might as well throw Bobby Burton in there too.

Major's issue is not any litigation of his but how is past behavior is being used as evidence in an existing suit brought by the terminated women's track coach.

Applewhite had a one-time sexual encounter while on staff for UT (and while married) with a UT student trainer at the Fiesta Bowl in 2008. He wasn't fired. Meanwhile, UT's ladies track & field coach was fired was fired for having an inappropriate sexual relationship with one of her track athletes. She sued UT as a result and the Applewhite affair is part of her lawsuit evidence.

The Texas 247 site until a few days ago said that Herman wasn't even on the list of coaching candidates. He beat Louisville and the boosters started pushing for him. The administration looks like they want to go in another direction though.
