That's the truth. You can't just add games to the playoff and keep everything else the same. Don't understand why there wasn't enough foresight to anticipate possible issues.

Saban closed it out with the LSU sales pitch.
That felt purposeful

It was obvious all of them except Saban wants Kiffin to stay at Ole Miss. Saban mentioned how many national titles LSU has and how much easier it is to recruit at LSU. It’s so obvious Saban wants Kiffin at LSU.

Sounds like Nick has changed his tune. Said LSU has won 3 national championships since 2003. Also, said it’s hard to put together a good high school recruiting class at Ole Miss.

All the talking heads said Lane should stay at OM…except Saban “three coaches won National titles there recently and recruiting at LSU is different than OM. Trying to continuously build a team out of the portal is dangerous.”

Saban said LSU has won 3 titles since 2000. Also said even with all the success, OM recruiting is still ranked somewhere between 18-30 every year.

I think what you just heard was if you want to stay comfortable remain at Ole Miss. If you want to win championships go to LSU.

Nick straight up assaulted those clowns with truth bombs.

Nick Saban didn’t say much in that segment.
But what he did say was all about LSU. It’s obvious where he thinks Kiffin should go.

If LSU hired Nick to pump up the job on air then that’s smart

But if the reports are true, Ole Miss is pony-ing up the same amount of NIL funds as LSU and Florida, so they should be fine, right?

Ole Miss can never truly match what LSU can offer.

don’t think Ole Miss is going to let this drag out. They don’t have many cards to play, but they can name an interim and tell Lane to get lost. I’ll admit that would take some guts

They would owe him his buyout if they fire him.

This is spot on and we're seeing it this year with an LSU team that went hard in the portal but I can't honestly say we got much return on our investment outside of Mansoor Delane.

Exactly what we all know. If you are serious about winning titles you leave Ole Miss it's that simple. They all have egos money etc but at the end of the day how many titles did you win!
