I take solace in the fact that I do not expect Woodward to panic. If Riley had responded well to overtures, Woodward can now at least get in a room face to face. If it doesn’t work out, which looks likely, you can regroup and exhaust all options (including the NFL) to make sure you are getting the best possible coach.
