The original leak was from pissed off GT staffers who wanted Brent Key.
Fritz fired his agent back in August.. he never wanted this situation to get messy. But good news is this forced Tulane to work out a raise for him and increase his buyout which was already pretty big

This shows how fickle these negotiations are. I was with some Tulane people Sunday and they were glum because they thought Fritz to GT was a forgone conclusion. It is never a done deal until it is a done deal.

Fritz is a great coach, GA Tech is making a big mistake here. Not saying Key won’t work there but I’d take Fritz over Key everyday and twice on Saturday.

Has a new contract been announced for Fritz at Tulane? If not I still fear a player exodus and eventual Fritz departure.

I'll amend that to 11 or 12 being contacted and I think I saw that number in an article; I don't know how many had an official interview. Coaches that don't want that stuff advertised used Zoom from what I've heard, because you can't travel anymore without somebody putting it all over the webs. I think Clark was interviewed twice; once early then a followup. Chadwell, O'Brien, Fritz, Key, Clark are the ones I know of, and that's the point. Clark never leaked; why? If someone was willing to leak to sabotage anybody but Key that would have been the first name.
I don't pretend to have special knowledge, I'm just looking at the simplest, most likely explanation. And it sounds like it'll work like Fritz wanted it to. Tulane's happy (minus the AD, maybe), we're happy.
