Guy deserves a raise. Saw some tweet that if Fritz stays he’ll be the first Tulane coach in 50 years to win 9 games and return as coach the next season.

Has a new contract been announced for Fritz at Tulane? If not I still fear a player exodus and eventual Fritz departure.

Tulane needs to commit now to Fritz and a 5 year window.

Do you think he just agreed to stay for the hell of it? Honestly

We’ll be wasn’t offered the Georgia Tech so he didn’t agree to stay so much as he didn’t choose to retire.

So no new contract announcement yet?

Tulane is normally pretty quiet about this stuff, so don’t expect anything official yet.

My source said they worked out a new contract on Sunday evening. I’m assuming they’ll announce it after the conference championship game

Should I be nervous yet nothing has been announced?

Given the timing of the early signing period, now is the time to announce a new commitment to Fritz.

Yes, because it’s Tulane

I talked to a booster at the game yesterday. He said “Fritz will be taken care of”

We don’t have retarded assholes like Scott Cowen running things anymore but Tulane still needs to prove they are serious

What are are Tulane's long term plans? Big 12?

Hopefully. We just beat all the teams departing for the Big XII and the conference championship Kansas State in their house. That has to be good exposure for us

Still no announcement? Come on, Tulane. It’s not getting any better than what you currently got with Fritz

Like the other poster said, Fritz didn’t agree to stay as a charity to us. Something made him change his mind

I don’t believe for a minute Fritz turned down a job offer from Georgia Tech. I believe he didn’t get the job offer from Georgia Tech.
