100%. The person who confirmed this for me had Brian Kelly when the winds last search were still blowing hard towards Lincoln Riley. He also had the numbers to me ~3 days before it was announced.
This among other sources, all of them reliable but they are getting second hand information as well. I also have personal knowlege here that I will not fully divulge, but let's just say that the Kiffin family has a lot of friends in the SEC football world.

He laid out specifically how that would work legally, so again, it’s plausible. I’m not saying I believe it, but I don’t have enough proof to say he’s lying either.

No news is good news if you want Kiffin. IMO;
I have no sauces; but always thought if he was staying he would tell the OM team before in a dramatic way.
Get them fired up; ride it into the playoff.

He already did divulge. He said Kiffin was going to rip up his current Ole Miss contract, sign a new week long contract with Ole Miss and also sign a contract with LSU the same day. All of this supposedly happened last Sunday the 23rd. I want to know if all of that actually happened.

It does if they really wanted him to coach the Egg Bowl to increase their chances of making the playoffs and it’s the only way LSU would allow it to happen.

There are so many reasons why this is indeed happening, some of which are public knowledge and many that are not. I will say, regardless of what happens today and the Egg Bowl, Kiffin is not coaching this team (Ole Miss) after.

I don't see how Keith Carter would be cool with the whole tearing a contract up situation. I'm not buying that. I could be wrong but it doesn't sound plausible.
