At least we could kind of run the ball under Peetz. Daronte was in his bag after the bye week.

Was Peetz really bad, though?

Dude had Max Johnson looking like a Heisman contender.

Running game was terrible, which it has been since 2019.

Huh?

And yes Peetz was bad. His playcalling was horrific, not Joe Sloan bad but still bad

Max Johnson threw for 2,800+ yards and 27 TDs to 6 INTs under Peetz.

We had no RB or O-line, but QB play was solid

After Ed was fired, Daronte did a great job and that mostly with 2nd-team players.

Was that the year LSU didn’t blitz until the 9th game of the season?

Wasn’t it well known Orgeron micromanaged Jones until November, where we magically turned into a nasty defense?

Yeah they had an analyst come in to install all the blitzes. He knows nothing but DB coverage.

Still befuddles me to this day

Run a super generic 4-3 base all year

Come out against bama with guys lined up all over the place blitzing like crazy, force Bryce Young to run for his life, and ultimately come up 30 yards short from pulling off the biggest upset of Saban's career.
