With everything going on with DA and all They could have had Freeze for 750,000 and the Board would not even consider him.
Coach O tried and the Board is blaming O for the Canada situation. He has one shot to get it right or next year could be his last.

He’s getting blamed bc he deserves it. It’s his hire and he can’t get along with him. This isn’t on anyone else.

Not sure they can do that. They can "suggest" that they don't want you to, but I don't think they can ban a coach who is under no NCAA sanctions (if he were to only be hired as a coordinator).

2018? He was fired before the 17 season so I would understand that but 18 doesn't make sense.

If Yall knew what happened you wouldn't blame o for canada. Aranda had no issues moving on from canada. He re signed with lsu knowing he was leaving. Maybe ponder that for a second.

Blame is fine. But the unwillingess to move on is being ridiculous.

I blame Coach O for hiring a guy who took 1.5 million LSU dollars and degraded the Offensive efficiency and statistics versus our team's 2016's output. He was a bad hire.
I give him credit for getting rid of Canada based on that hideous performance.
The rest of the story is yet to be written. I hope the right choice is made.

ETA: Come to think of it, the Canada situation is Miles’ fault.

So, the Board is blaming him, and giving him a year to fix this, but blocking all his desired OC hires...
Sounds like a someone is being set up to fail......we should all be concerned about this if true.
