The plane is a TBM-900, a single engine prop plane. Nice little plane but if you are going to sign someone to a $100 Million deal you send the jet.

It's a jet turbine prop plane that tops 350kts. They are about 5 million new and can land on short fields. Not bad for some lower level school reps or a discrete donor. Weeks later, when you leave for the press conference after signing, you pop for the G6 through NetJets.

Don't get me wrong, it is a great plane. I flew on one a while ago, like a rocket.

I remember during the BK search that some businessmen from BR were up in Dallas for a meeting and caught wind of one of these threads. They filed a flight plan to Norman and then BTR and sat back and watched the board explode.
