If Orgeron runs the table & Fisher gets the job, we may have problems with Orgeron bolting and being a thorn in LSU's side. I may be wrong, but Orgeron and Kiffin will reunite next year. Either at LSU or at Bama. It would be typical of Bama to hire Orgeron. WE don't need Saban AND Orgeron recruiting in Louisiana.

It's not like Bama's recruiting or DL play could get any better.

If we have Fisher and Aranda, we'll get over it. Promise.

There is no dilemma in choosing Fisher over Orgeron. It is a no brainer and you do it 100% of the time.

If Orgeron would run to Bama to screw LSU just because we hired a more qualified HC, then he is a POS and I am glad we didnt give him the job anyways.

I'm not sure I understand people who support O arguing he would go to Alabama if LSU doesn't make him HC. This implies he is a child with no loyalty.

He's not going to bama as a dl coach. Don't you remember what he said, "It's not about me, it's about the players". You're telling me he's going to abandon his players for a hillbilly school like bama, I think not. He'd be a hypocrite if he did that kind of lateral move.

So Bama is going become better at recruiting and on the DL? Is that possible?

I fricking hope an SEC West team hires Ed Orgeron to be their head coach. That would be great for everyone who plays them every year.

He was 3-21 in the SEC in his last job in the SEC West

You say that but the only recruits I can remember O an Kiffin coming into LA and taking from us are Joe McKnight and Janzen Jackson. Jacksons dad and O were close I think so it wasn't a complete surprise.

Saban has done an outstanding Job of recruiting a defensive front that Manhandles LSU's O-line. My question, what role will O serve at Bama? And if he does, it just reinforces my thoughts of him while at tenn and Ole piss, trash the shite out of LSU for his gain. It would just reinforce my stern reasons of not hiring O as the HC.

For the record, I prefer Fisher. I would hope Orgeron would stay on board, but I think he will be butt hurt & bolt.

Exactly, if they hire O as DL coach, then we would take Karl Dunbar and bring him back to LSU.

Fisher over Orgeron dilemma

A dilemma is having to make a choice between two bad options. If O bolts that's on him. I'm sure he'd be welcomed back if he wants the d-line/recruiting director job back, but we can't make a decision based on whether he has hurt feelings over not getting the HC job. We still have a damn good coach in Jimbo, whether O is here or not, so I wouldn't call it a dilemma.

I believe LSU has won two national titles with Orgeron working at other schools and zero with him at LSU. LSU should not let the fact he would move on get in the way of getting the best coach they can attract.

who cares?

get the head coach you need, let the chips fall where they may. Dline coach usually doesnt make or break a program.

Yeah let's make a hate hire just to spite Bama. Ffs do you read what you're typing here? You are suggesting we hire Ed Orgeron over JIMBO FISHER because he MAY leave for another job. You people are ridiculous.

Oh yeah but O LOVES LSU and Louisiana so,he wouldnt do that right????
