If we haven't fired Les, There is a big possibility that he beats all the teams that "O" beat. They all have awful record with more than 5 losses except A&M. He also would have beaten FL and gone to sugar Bowl.

By firing mid season, you are giving a guy who has no business with HC job an opportunity to claim the job and start over fresh

To be fair had Miles been retained and won out minus UA he would have probably been kept and the process would have repeated itself next year. At some point you gotta rip the bandaid off.

If Les was from Lafourche, we would have a statue of him and lifetime coaching position.

Firing Miles =/= hiring O.

Just want to point that out.

Mutually exclusive.

On the flip side, Les finishes out the year, beats Florida and he keeps his job.

On 2nd thought, maybe that would have been better.

With all due respect...I don't think the head start on a coaching search helped us out in the slightest.

Firing Les mid-season is just a symptom of the overall problem

People who compare ole miss job to LSU job are complete morons. Facilities, recruiting base, checkbook for coaches is not even comparable to ole piss

I thought we only spoke to Jimbo and Herman before O? There are many qualified coaches we never even approached.

That is not a search. Alleva lied and did not search.

Les lied and did not change the offense. He was fired.

Alleva lied and did not search. When can we expect his separation from the program?

Les Miles is over and if not for the national media making him out to be the best coach in history last year he would have been gone then. I don't give a shite what anyone says, the offense was better without Miles. That's withthe same playbook, players and an interim coach.

Firing Miles in 2015 was the right decision. Everything after that has been a cluster.
