Agree. As others have pointed out, when you fire a coach mid-season, there is pressure to hire the interim when he doesn't screw it up - even if it's a guy you never would have considered for the job otherwise.

The mother fricker had about 4 years at ole miss to run his system. He averaged like 1 sec win a year. He's a shitty hc and this is a terrible decision by LSU. We've basically said frick it. I mean the nation is littered with head coaches better than O.

No, I sure didn't know about his tenure at ole miss. Ground breaking shite here, a guy lost games at a bottom feeder in his first big head coaching gig a decade ago. you have no clue if he will be successful or not, you just chose to be miserable
