If you guys needed any more definitive proof that Coach O is not the right choice this has got to be it. Hard to believe Pollack was the voice of reason in that discussion.

Finebaum and the other non LSU guys on ESPN want LSU to fail so they say the dumbest choices for LSU.

Pollack was saying it shouldn't even be a question if it came down to Jimbo or O. If it was between Fleck and O he could understand the hesitation but no sane person would want to turn down Jimbo for O.

The media does not have a high opinion of LSU or of Louisiana. The fact that they're saying O is a perfect fit should be seen as an insult.
They don't want LSU to get a coach that would actually be a threat to Saban or Meyer.

Or Ferentz. Nicky already had a grudge vs. LSU deep down in side or at least with Skip. When he asked for his job back in 2006 and was turned down I can just imagine the ego hit he took and how mad that made him.

They want nothing more than the program most equipped to compete with them on a regular basis to continue playing checkers with a "CEO style coach" while they continue to play chess with the best coach in CFB.
