Hiring Faulk is the right move but is probably intended by Oeaux to be window dressing to appease the masses and potential recruits. Oeaux prolly made a good hire but for the wrong friggin reasons.

Acts as on campus recruiter, liaison between LSU and international embassies, and helps coach running backs.

Player Development = Mentoring and coaching players 1 on 1, tell them what it takes to be successful both in life and professionally.

Good hire. Idk how much this position will help winning on the field but he deserves to be around the football program and I think it can only help.

I can only see it helping to have a guy like Faulk around the program given his SEC skins and Super Bowl rings.

As of now Faulk’s recruiting activities are limited to on-campus visits. NCAA rules allow only on-the-field staff to travel.
But look for Faulk to step in on a waiver for Sullivan on the recruiting trail.

He has a couple of Super Bowl Rings, had legendary careers at LSU and the NFL, and was an exemplary player who did the right things and stayed out of trouble. These as values that are valuable to developing young men to make good decisions which is important to our football program. You post is very shallow.

It’s a good hire.
With all that’s happened, you have to think it’s just more politics by O though. Bring in the one of the most loved tigers of all time and hopefully get some of the heat off your arse.
